The original (after having amnesia first) settled in a small town somewhere without using his powers and being a superhero. The clone was also the one that married Mary Jane Watson. Some time ago the real Peter Parker returned, he named himself Ben Reilly, the Scarlet Spider. He took the place of Spider-Man for a while when he lost his powers (although I'm not sure of the later). But the powers returned and very recently the real Peter Parker (now Ben Reilly) was killed (again I'm not totally sure, because I don't really read the Spider-Man titles). The clone who has been Spider-Man all this time has resumed his normal life with his wife Mary Jane pregnant, he has also returned to being a superhero. In Game terms Ben Reilly had the same stats with a -1CS on Fighting because of inexperience and a popularity of 5. I believe he also used a dart shooter (2 areas, Ty damage) with Rm paralyzing poison. I have just learned that the above isn't correct. The clone plot was really a scheme devised by the original Green Goblin. Ben Reilly was the clone and Peter Parker the original. So eventually the clone died and everything was settled. Also the Green Goblin's plotting caused Mary Jane to miscarriage. Ben Reilly also carried a web-ball shooter with web-balls that exploded upon impact. It acted as a 5 areas Am strength grappling attack.

He put quite a lot of work in these stats, (thanks Jeremy), if you like the way this is done, with the extra background, please let me know. Armada

- Armada is a new character created by Dan Jurgens(?), and first appeared in Sensational Spider-man #0. Even though some if his personality traits are somewhat laughable, Armada is quite formidable and should not be taken lightly. Armada is still in the early stages of his career, and his full potential is still yet to be seen.

KNOWN POWERS:

Body Armor - Armada, when he believes he will be seen, or be attacked, wears a suit of body armor. This body armor is of IN (40) rank vs. all attacks, and has the following powers:
· Flight - AM (50) air speed
· Repulsors - Fire from the palms. AM (50) energy attack.
· Communication with Mechanical Devices (His inventions only) RM (30) ability. 100(?) mile range.
· Storage Area - Holds his various inventions. Holds up to 10 of them (hand held size.)

Inventions (Mechanical Devices) - Armada always has mechanical armaments and devices with him at all times (at least three.) These devices are his family and friends, and he treats them as such. To him, each device has its own personality and quirks. He names every one of them (all female.) If any of his devices are destroyed, or even damaged, he has a major emotional response, almost as if it had happened to him. So far, his devices all have the ability to fly at AM (50) air speed (and agility), have PR (4) body, GD (10) protection, and so far, have had one or more of the following characteristics*:
· Body Armor - IN (40) rank vs. all physical and/or energy attacks.
· Lasers - AM (50) energy damage.
· Smoke - GD (10) intensity.
· Knock-Out Gas - IN (40) intensity. A failed Endurance FEAT, means the target is unconscious for 1-10 hours.
· Lockpicking - RM (30) ability.
· Stun Beam - IN (40) intensity.
· Camera - With surveillence ability and an acting Intuition of RM (30)
· Tractor Beam - Lifts TY (6) weight (200 lbs.), and has a range of 1 area.

Armada always has back-up devices in his armor, and only uses them if it is absolutely necessary.

* Please note, more can be made at any time (if time, resources, and karma allow), and can different abilities and power levels. More than likely, Armada has five or more devices he hasn't uveiled at any given moment.

TALENTS - Armada has backgrounds in Electronics, Gadgetry, and Repair/Tinkering.

CONTACTS - So far, the only contact known is Mysterio (which really isn't a good one.)

IN BRIEF - Armada could be alot more formidable than he is, but the way he is now, Armada is a really screwed up fellow. His only friends are the devices he invents. (He names them all female names. Hmm...) Although he cares for them deeply, and this is his most interesting trait, I really can't see too bright of a future for a man who only finds solace in cold, hard steel and silicone. His last teaming up with Mysterio (the "Toy Wars" one-shot in Amazing) ended with Armada believing himself duped (Armada isn't very smart yet when it comes to dealing with other villians), so it is hard to see yet if this partnership will continue to grow. My belief is if Armada would become a little more sane regarding his devices, and started to focus on the task at hand, he could stop being a background character and become a big gun. (And lose the navy ship code name)

The Scarlet Spider stats reflect the attributes of Ben when he first returned to "super-heroing." The new Spider-man stats reflect his attributes after he regained his speed and experience (he had the Karma to spend to raise his attributes back up.) I set Ben's initial, and now current, Intuition stat higher than "the old Spider-man's," to reflect his knowledege he received from traveling the countries of the world. I still kept his Psyche up, and thought I should because of his mental hardships he has endured during his exile. These stats are not official, and you may change, or ignore them. Ben's powers are exactly the same as Peter's, and do not have to be changed, except for the following exceptions!!!

POWERS (The ones listed here are only the revisions, or new ones)
SPIDER-SENSE - Ben without his spider-sense, has an Intuition of EX (20), not GD (10) as Peter does.
WEB SHOOTERS - Ben also altered his web shooters to accomodate for his new variations on his webbing, tracers, and brand new "stingers." The first apparent change is the new "twist-of-the-wrist" activation - various sensors in the cuff are stimulated by different wrist positions to issue the different webbing availiable. The web shooter also has an inflating cuff pump to insure comfort and to make sure the sensors are where they are most effective. These sensors change the thickness of the web, tells which kind of webbing is fired, or if a stinger or a minidot tracer is fired. Another very practical change is the "quick-click-change" on the shooter. When a cartidge is empty, all Ben has to do is swivel the cartridges to click a new one into place. Each web shooter holds 9 web cartridges, and each web shooter cartridge holds approximately 100 uses of normal webbing, 20 impact webbing pellets, 5 stingers, and 1 minidot tracer. There are reserve cartridges in his belt, and is defined there.
IMPACT WEBBING - Ben, as Scarlet Spider, created a new variation on his webbing called impact webbing. This webbing fires from the top of the web shooter, and fires as little, round pellets (1 cm in diameter) and have PR (3) protection (the pellets are stored as 4mm diameter balls in the web shooter.) After impact, these potent pellets explode into thousands of tiny tendrils of moist webbing of IN (40) material strength, and harden the next round to MN (75) material strength. Each pellet covers an area of 2' x 2' x 2' after exploding, and conforms to what it hits. For example, if the pellet where to hit a box of one foot square, it would enwrap the entire box with plenty of webbing to glue it to floor, or if it where floating, it would have an extra one foot of webbing on each side (outside what it would normally enwrap.) Another example, if the pellet where to hit a side of the Empire State Building it would cover a flat area equal to two feet cubed, or five feet squared (rounded.) It's that simple. When pellets are used in conjunction, the effects are cumulative. The pellets are used for restraining opponents, protecting items (make shift body armor), landing pads for cushioning falls, and wrapping large areas more quickly than his regular webbing. The webbing has a velocity/range of 3 areas per round, and can be fired at a speed of 4 pellets per web shooter per round. Each web shooter holds approximately 20 pellets per cartridge. This webbing is very new, and really hasn't been examined thoroughly. It makes me wonder what it would do if it were fired in a high wind hurricane, or underwater. Here's something to think about. What if a pellet were fired on a wall to cushion the impact for the second one, enabling it to bounce for a trick shot. Hmm...
STINGERS - These are small, aerodynamic "needles" that are fired from the top of the web shooter, alongside the exit for the impact webbing. Ben uses these to keep his opponents off gaurd. Stingers are made of MN (75) material (they are made of hardened webbing), are 3" (75mm) long, and do PR (4) damage. They can't make a "kill" result. If a red FEAT is made, treat it as a Stun. Nothing experimental really has been tried with the stingers, but I don't see any reason why they can't carry any fluids on them (e.g. poison, vaccines, or any other fluids.)
MINIDOT TRACER - These are the tracers Ben uses, and they are many times better than the old ones. First, the new compact size is alot more practical, they are 1/4" (7 mm) in diameter, just at the point of stability. It is shaped like a frisbee and has the firing range/velocity of 3 areas per round. It also has AM (50) rank grappling. And like it's earlier model, it works on Ben's spider sense at range of one mile at AM (50) accuracy.
UTILITY BELT AND SCARLET SPIDER'S ANKLE POUCHES - All Spider costumes are equipped with a utility belt. This is where more web fluid is carried (enough to completely refill a single web shooter four times), a camera is held, and a "spider" light is placed. The light is placed where the buckle is, and has an intensity of GD (10). The Scarlet Spider suit was equipped with ankle pouches. The pouches looked good, but nothing was told about what was inside. I assume that it was more web fluid, but it could have been Scarlet Spider's lunch (or a comb, toothbrush, and deodorant for those long missions.)

TALENTS - Although it varies from writer to writer, I still believe that Ben has a stong knowledge in physics and chemistry. Like before, this is my interpretation and you may change or delete things as you see fit.

CONTACTS - As Ben Reilly, Ben has contacts to Seward Trainer (a scientist, whose true motives are currently unkown, but presently treated as friendly), Peter Parker, Mary Jane Watson-Parker, and the owners and patrons of a coffee shop named "The Daily Grind." As Spider-man, Ben has contacts to the Fantastic Four, the Avengers (he is a reserve member), and Matt Murdock (Daredevil.) Ben also has a contact to a certain Felicia Hardy (a.k.a. the Black Cat.) A few people do know Ben is the amazing Spider-man, who are: Black Cat, Daredevil, Peter and Mary Jane Watson-Parker, Kaine, Seward Trainer, and Jessica Carradine (the burglar's daughter, and possible love interest.)

IN BRIEF - Ben Reilly, for all intents and purposes, is the Peter Parker we've all known except for some small differences. He still is a man of overriding responsibility and morality. But he has endured a radically different life than Peter, and therefore has a different outlook on his life than him. He is alot more carefree and innocent in his exploits as Spider-man, and doesn't have the "hardened veteran" feel of the other Spider-man of late. He still cracks jokes (probably more than he used to) to keep his opponents off gaurd. He has a deep passion for life, and for people. And for this reason, usually pulls his punches unless he knows his opponent is extremely dangerous, or has super powers of their own.

KNOWN POWERS
Black Cat's powers have changed many times during her career. To having no powers, bringing latent powers to surface, having them unknowingly stripped away by Dr. Strange (at a really bad moment), gaining new ones, having them removed against her will, and finally replacing those lost powers with mechanical substitutes, she has had her share of changes. I list all I can here, hopefully without the occasional "Ooops, I forgot. Sorry."
Powers (Set 1)
LUCK MANIPULATION - Felicia unconsciously created a bad luck aura around her, causing bad luck to befall on those who try to attack her. This power often manifested itself in spectacular ways, always protecting her: guns exploding in assailant's hands, an attacker falls through a loose board, a ceiling falling into a fountain to short curcuit a person's body armor, etc. The limitation of her power was her allies would experience the same effect on their actions as well, if they failed a weekly Psyche FEAT roll. Would-be attackers (and allies that failed Psyche FEAT rolls) make all FEATS reading the lowest die first (a roll of "8" and "2" would be 28 no matter which die is the "tens" die.) Before she had, and after she lost, her powers she used booby traps and careful planning to simulate this power.
Powers (Set 2)
INFRAVISION - EX (20) Rank
HEIGHTENED DEXTERITY - This is reflected in her alternate Agility stat.
EQUIPMENT
· Tightrope - Felicia often carries a length of thin wire which ends in a ball of glue. She can throw the ball three areas or use a launcher with a ten area range. The cable is made of EX (20) material, and the Black Cat uses it as a swing line or a tight rope.
Powers (Set 3(natural) and 4(mechanical))
INFRAVISION - EX (20) rank
CLAWS - EX (20) strength, causes EX (20) edged damage.
BALANCE ENHANCERS - Black Cat has earrings to help her with her acrobatics.
GRAPPLE LINE - The Black Cat has a thin metal wire (EX (20) material) ending in a cat's claw that is fired from the of her wrist and is used as a swing line.

TALENTS - Martial Arts A, E, Acrobatics, Tumbling, Espionage, Lock-picking, Security Systems Knowledge, and Tightrope Walking.

CONTACTS - Spider-man is still a very valuable contact.

IN BRIEF - Black Cat lives for adventure and excitement. This is what attracted Felicia to Spider-man. But when the relationship went beyond costumed identities, there was no common ground. The relationship ended, not very amicably. By the time the Black Cat entered back into Spider-man's life, Peter was married to Mary Jane Watson. In retaliation, Felicia started to date Flash Thompson. This was to make him love her, then break his heart. But the relationship with Flash had become more serious than she expected. She had grown to like, maybe even love him. Flash does not know about Felicia being the Black Cat. More recently, Black Cat had an active part in fighting Carnage in a long encounter called "Maximum Carnage." Unfortunately, Felicia agreed more often with Venom than with Spider-man. But to me, the most interesting thing to happen with the Black Cat recently is the return of Ben Reilly. This opens a whole new plot or subplot.

KAINE

- Kaine is the first failed clone of Peter Parker (Ben Reilly?). His entire pitiful existence is concentated on the humiliation of, and possibly the the destruction of, Ben Reilly. The only thing Kaine understands is violence, although some other emotions have appeared from time to time.

KNOWN POWERS
ADHESIVENESS (AM) - Like Spider-man, Kaine can also "stick to any surface," but unlike Spider-man, he doesn't use this power for travel. Kaine's uses this power as an offensive attack by adhering to the ground and pulling walls, billboards, etc. on the top, or at, his enemies. After they are pulled, treat them as a charging attack as if they were falling, or being thrown. Kaine can pull up to AM (50) intensity weight at once.
THE MARK OF KAINE (GD) - After defeating an opponent, (more often than not, they are dead) Kaine leaves his "mark" on them. This is a form of concentrated cell degeneration that is limited to the range of touch. Kaine usually places this mark on the face.
Weakness:
PRECOGNITION (AM) - Kaine's spider-sense mutated into a form of precognition. He sees future events affecting himself, and sometimes others that he knows. When a vision appears, Kaine is stunned and connot act until the pain (and the vision) subsides. He sees only one vision at a time, and it doesn't change until it happens, or it is impossible for it to happen. Kaine can't control when the visions appear, or their clarity.

TALENTS: None revealed.

CONTACTS: Shannon and her host in "The Game" (maybe)

IN BRIEF - Kaine is the first clone made from Peter Parker made from Professor Miles Warren (a.k.a. the Jackal.) When he first started to degenerate, Prof. Miles Warren discarded him, leaving Kaine bitter. After this, Kaine watched Peter (the successful clone) accomplish everything he was supposed to, and looked upon him fondly. Ben Reilly (the original Peter Parker), is the person who Kaine wants to have a miserable existence, and Kaine has made sure of this for the five years Ben has been "in exile." Kaine has lived vicariously through Peter, and will do anything to protct him. He has already killed Dr. Otto Octavius (Dr. Octopus), The Grim Hunter (the son of Kraven), and even tried an attempt on the Sinister Six. Kaine is a bitter, depressed, and violent individual who can never attain true happiness. First, he is a clone and feels excluded from the rest of humanity. Second, he is hideously disfigured and knows he will be forever shunned. Third, and lastly, because of his outlook on his existence, and his aloof, untrusting personality, will insure distance between him and anybody who would even try to get close to him.

First Appearance: Spider-man #54(?) (November 1994)

Spidercide

- Spidercide is another mechination of the reborn Jackal(?). Although he is a clone of Peter, he definitely has different powers. After awhile, Spidercide was approached by Scrier and given a will of his own(?). He betrayed the Jackal and nothing has been heard about him since.

Spider-man's Powers - Spidercide also has access to all of Spider-man's powers. For convenience, they are:
Wall Crawling - AM (50)
Spider-Sense - AM (50)
Spidercide doesn't have his webbing because that was an invention by Peter Parker and not an inborn ability. (Like he needs it with that shape changing power.) If needed, I guess he could make some. He does have Peter's memories.
Immune to Spider-Sense - Like all spider-clones, Spidercide is immune to Spider-man's Spider-sense. Therefore, Spidercide can blindside Spider-man, etc.. (Yes, both of them.)

Talents: Chemistry Photography

Contacts: Jackal Scrier and Judas Traveller(?)

In Brief - Spidercide is an... interesting character, but still he remains two dimensional. All he lives for is to carry out orders made by others. It is still to be seen what type of person he will be, especially after all the brainwashing and mind control used on him. Only time will tell how the Spider-Man creative teams will actually use him again.

First appearance - Spectacular Spider-man #222

Green Goblin I

- I really thought about this character. Norman Osborn is the most purely evil person (not just villian) I could think of. He mentally abused his son, Harry, he commits violent acts without any remorse, he murders in cold blood, enjoying the pain it causes, and all of these acts serve towards the end of one person, Peter Parker. Norman's plots are exacting, vengeful, and ultimately self serving. All of his efforts are directed to the annihilation of Peter Paker's life. This is the most frightening aspect of Norman Osborn. Imagine a brilliant mind trying to rip everything you care about away from you, trying to turn your flesh and blood into ash, and having the ability to do so quite easily. Remember, Peter has never decisively beaten Norman, and I seriously doubt he ever will...

KNOWN POWERS:
Regeneration - Due to Norman's version of the Green Goblin strength serum, he gained a form of regeneration. This allowed him to recover from death after being impaled from his goblin glider. This regeneration is at AM (50) ability, and can work after death. It doesn't heal large scars, as shown by the huge one on his chest left from the gobin glider.
KNOWN EQUIPMENT:
Body Armor - Norman's Goblin Suit is made of insulated chain mail that gives him EX (20) protection from physical and force attacks, and RM (30) protection from energy attacks.
Weapon Systems - Norman Osborn invented many gadgets, most of which he incorporated into his arsenal. The official rules say he can only carry a mixture of 12 of the following items. I've seen him carry much more. I would change this to 30. He carries these in a leather pouch, that he wears at the waist, that hangs across his chest from the shoulder.
· Pumkin Bombs - These explode for EX (20) energy damage, and may explode on contact, or by twisting the stem, can be set to explode up to 2 rounds after being thrown.
· Goblin Grenades (Asphyxiation Bombs) - These grenades are made from a rubber mantle that makes them resemble ghosts in the air. They can be filled with plain smoke at IN (40) intensity, IN (40) intensity knock out gas, IN (40) intensity incendiary material, or a special gas that reduces Spider-Man's spider-sense to PR (4) rank for 24 hours. (The gas can be used on it's own, and can also be used in a regular pumpkin bomb. The gas knocking out other people's danger sense is up to the individual judge who can make their own ruling.)
· Razor Bats - These throwing blades are shaped in the form of bats, and whistle like screaming bats when thrown. They inflict GD (10) edged, throwing damage. Multiple blades can be thrown, but at a -1 column shift for each additional blade thrown that round.
· Finger Blasters - These gloves shoot a blast of sparkling light from the ends of the fingers. These gloves inflict RM (30) damage, and have a range of 2 areas.
· Goblin Glider - This glider was The Green Goblin's form of transprtation. Originally, it looked like a technological flying broomstick, but was later changed to look like a flying bat. This looked better, and was alot more practical. The glider has IN (40) control, TY (6) flying speed, GD (10) body, and no protection. The glider also was equipped with a pike that causes EX (20) edged damage, but can increase with a flying charging attack.

CONTACTS:

His best contact though, is his leading of a cult named "Scrier." This is how he kept track of Peter when he was gone, and how he was able to control so many things from across the sea. Wether or not he has control over Osborn Industries is still to be seen. (I believe it won't be too hard for him to reattain it, if he hasn't already.)

In Brief - Norman is evil personified. His only goal is to destroy Peter, to cause him as much pain on him as possible before snuffing out his existence. He killed Gwen Stacy, was behind the entire clone saga, and kidnapped Peter and Mary Jane's baby, very possibly with the intention of killing little, defenseless May. What is going to stop Norman from killing Mary Jane to destroy Spider-Man's life? I say nothing...
Norman's return to the Spider-Man books breaths new life into the continuing saga of Peter Parker, and is the only logical explanation to a storyline they tried to fix twice before.
Many people hate the return of Norman, saying it destroys continuity, and a dramatic death. I say, let it happen. By bringing back this character, do you know what the possibilities are for upcoming storylines? The best Spider-Man stories are the Norman Osborn stories.
I'll leave you with this, fellow vetran Spider-Man readers: Could you imagine a Norman Osborn Green Goblin facing off with the Original Roderick Kingsley Hobgoblin? (By the way it wasn't Ned Leeds.) Oooooh...let the pumpkin bombs fly!

Delilah

- Delilah is a hired assassin, who specializes in mafia targets. Most recently, she has been working regularly for The Rose, a figure from the past who has recently resurfaced. The man under the Rose's mask hasn't been revealed (it might still be Richard Fisk), so any connection between him and Delilah can't be made or assumed yet. Delilah, from her first appearance, seems extremely capable and very deadly.

POWERS:
Delilah, from all appearances, doesn't have any super powers (except strength and endurance.) From everything shown, the only things she uses for battle are her wits and her weapons.
Weapons:
· Energy Pistol - This pistol shoots for IN (40) energy damage.
· Throwing Knives - Delilah always wears knives of RM (30) material strength. These inflict IN (40) points of damage (throwing weapons skill.) She can throw more than one a round, but in doing so she suffers a -1CS for every extra blade thrown.
· Smoke Bomb - EX (20) intensity smoke.
· Steel Bracings - Delilah has steel interlaced in her suit, effectively giving her a body armor vs. all attacks at TY (6) rank, and giving her a +1CS to damage in hand to hand combat.

TALENTS - Delilah seems to have talents in shooting weapons, throwing weapons, and thrown objects.

CONTACTS - So far, the only contact revealed is The Rose, although a person like Delilah would obviously, and most definitely, have more than one contact.

IN BRIEF - Delilah has an obsession with the idea of men and boys, and uses this ploy to anger or invoke men into doing rash actions, or actions against their will. She seems to use a very sexy voice and flaunts her well curved frame in hopes of luring men's thoughts away from the task at hand, and her true motives. She is smart, resourceful, and deadly. Delilah is an interesting character, and is a woman definitely capable of taking care of herself.

Electro

- Electro is one of Spider-Man's original villians and still is one of his best ones. He has had some really bad stories ("Light the Night"), but this character, used correctly, is one that is not only useful as a storytelling device, but is just fun. His flashy costume and straight-forward behavior make him a perfect candidate for a quick and good plot.
Electro recently went through a power boost. A HUGE one. This power boost made Electro even more arrogant and boastful than ever. (As if he wasn't before....sheesh...) He considers nothing to be a threat, and not much is to him anymore...

Known Powers:
Electrical Generation and Control - Since the recharging of "The Living Battery," Electro since become "one with the electrical force." He now has COMPLETE control over all electricity and can wield it to it's fullest extent. His ability to control electricity is ShZ (500), and his ability to generate it is UN (100). He has the ability to charge up to ShZ (500) electricty, taking a full round to do so for each column shift up. With this awesome power he has the following power stunts:
· True Flight - Electro now has the ability to make an electrical field around himself to propel him at air speeds of MN (75) air speed (30 areas per round, 450 mph/ 7.5mpm).
· Electrical Land Travel - Electro can ride lines of high electro-magnetical potential (power lines) at land speeds of MN (75) speed (9 areas per round, 135 mph/ 2.25 mpm).
· Electrical Field - This field surrounds Electro constantly with out Electro having to concentrate on it. The intensity can go as high as he can generate it, but this takes away energy he can use for other actions. In combat, Electro usually has it set to the minimum level of damage needed to keep everyone away, and any other range attacks from hitting him. He can turn it on and off at will, and can change it's intensity. The range on this power stunt is AM (50) on range column A.
· Electric Heat - Electro can generate heat from his electric energy at levels up to MN (75) intensity.
· Nueral Manipulation - Electro can manipulate all electricity now, and that includes brain pulses. He can cause AM (50) intensity damage from this form of attack.
· Machine Animation - Electro can animate machines at an UN (100) intensity rank power FEAT vs. the intensity of the machine's Tech rank. This is of a limited nature, and can not be used to do complex tasks.
· Disease Immunity - Using his power to manipulate his muscle tissue, Electro can use high amounts of electricity to "burn out" forms of disease. This ability can burn out almost any disease from his body, up to and including cancer.
Invulnerability - Cl1000 (1000) resistance to all forms of Electricity, and EX (20) resistance to all other forms of energy.

Talents: None.

Contacts: Electro has many contacts to different super villians that I'm sure he can call upon at any time. He is a good team player and actually is a man of his word. Otherwise Electro has good connections to the criminal underworld.

In Brief - Electro is the classic "I've got powers now! I now have the power to take what I want!" I love his character. He's so straight forward. Nothing complicated. Electro has always been arrogant and cocky and the "Light the Night" storyline never made much sense to me. But Electro now is in a class of his own, and definitely has the power to back up his arrogance. Now if Marvel would put his mask back on him like they should, everything would be perfect.

First appearance: Amazing Spider-Man #9
The "Light the Night" Storyline: Spider-Man #38-40
Electro's New Powers Storyline: Amazing Spider-Man #422-425

Spider-Man 2099

- The Spider-Man of the future is quite different than the one of today. Using a different moral code defined in the somewhat depressing future, this Spider-Man plays by different rules.

Real Name: Miguel O'Hara

Identity: Secret in the beginning...
Legal Status: Citizen of the United States. Possibly with a criminal record.
Other Known Aliases: None
Place of Birth: New York
Marital Status: Single, but engaged
Known Relatives: Tyler Stone (illegitamate father), Gabriel (brother), Dana (fiance).
Base of Operations: New York City, 2099 A.D.

Known Powers:
Heightened Sight - After the genetic rearrangement, Miguel acqired the ability to see clearly within the range of his sight. When using this ability, however, his eyes turn completely white.
Air Foil - EX (20) Spider-Man 2099 has a web foil on the back of his shoulders that he uses to glide from building to building. This can also be used to break falls.
Claws - IN (40) These tiny claws extend from the bottom of Miguel's fingertips, the outside of his forearms, and the balls of his feet. He uses the claws for wall crawling mainly, but does use them for attacking. When used for attack, they do GD (10) edged damage, and hve IN (40) material strength. For wall-crawling consider the power at IN (40) ability.
Webbing - Miguel, like a real spider, has spinnerets in his forearms that make webbing. The webbing is of AM (50) strength and are spun from the top of Miguel's arm. the webbing has a range of 3 areas.

Equipment:
Suit - Spider-Man's suit is made from unstable molecules, allowing him to use his powers in the suit. It also takes damage without worry of wear and tear.

Talents: Genetics

Contacts:
Lyla (Hologram), Kasey Nash, Dana.

In Brief - Spider-Man 2099 was a good idea that lost it's way. Miguel trying to go through life, being manipulated at every turn but trying to keep his freedom was fun to read. After awhile the book lost it's direction, and it's star creative team. Miguel, in particular, was a wonderful character. The only thing I can say about him is, read the first 10 issues. You'll then know what I'm talking about....
