In Brief:On a world in another dimension a race of sentient semi-humanoid
beings lacking spines evolved. The race's inability to stand upright prevented their civilization
from advancing beyond a relatively primitive level. Finally, the scientist Arize
designed an artificial exoskeletal frame that would enable a member
of his race to stand erect. Most of the race began using these exoskeletons and under Arize's guidance,
their civilization rapidly advanced.
However, some of Arize's race
refused to use the exoskeletons and for unknown reasons, these so-called
Spineless Ones somehow became the race's rulers. The Spineless Ones
demanded to have a race of slaves, which Arize created for them through
genetic engineering. The Spineless Ones' mythic images of devils had
humanoid form, and Arize, apparently with ironic intent, designed his genetic
creations to resemble them. Moreover Arize had no intention of allowing his
sentient creations to be oppressed, and secretly designed their genetic
codes so that, despite the Spineless Ones' wishes, the humanoids would
be intelligent and have a strong sense of individual self. Hence, a rebellion of
the slaves would be inevitable. Furthermore, Arize designed some of
these slaves, including the one who would be known as Longshot and his
ally Quark, to have special superhuman powers. Later, the Spinless Ones
demanded that Arize create immensely powerful weaponry for
them, and when he refused, they cast him out, and he began a life as a hermit.
Longshot first achieved consciousness as an adult, having been
grown in machines to become a warrior slave for one of the Spineless
Ones, Mojo. Longshot's first words were to tell Mojo, his owner, "No one
owns me." Mojo put Longshot to work as a performer of dangerous
stunts in the movies he produced. Eventually Longshot sought out
Arize, who told him his origin, explained to him that he was indeed
a living being with a right to freedom, and urged him to help bring about a
rebellion of the slaves against the Spineless Ones.
Longshot became a legendary heroic rebel leader on his homeworld,
but was finally captured by the Spineless Ones who artificially induced
amnesia in him so he would become a submissive slave. Instead, the amnesiac Longshot fled with rebel hunters
hot on his trail, he found an interdimensional portal and escaped
through it to Earth. There he was dubbed "Longshot" because he continually acted against heavy odds in
his exploits. Longshot had many adventures on Earth, including battles
against rebel hunters from his own world such as Spiral and Gog and
Magog. He was befriended by the movie stuntwoman Ricochet Rita.
Mojo ultimately came to Earth, determined to prevent Longshot
from returning to their home world and telling the humanoid slaves how
Earth was ruled by human beings like themselves. Mojo feared that
this news would inspire further rebellions. Once coming to Earth, Mojo
began planning to enslave its population. Meanwhile, Longshot began
regaining his memories, enough to recall his true origin. Aided by Ricocet Rita, Quark, and the sorcerer
Doctor Strange, Longshot defeated Mojo, forcing him into an interdimensional portal. Spiral followed Mojo
and Longshot, Ricochet Rita, and Quark also entered the portal in
order to follow Mojo back to his homeworld. Longshot intended to kill Mojo
there and then to lead his thousands of fellow humanoids from his home
world to Earth where they can be free. Whether Longshot will ever succeed
in his quest remains to be seen.
Mojo, however had other plans and teleported him to Earth, at a time
before he recovered his memories. Longshot joined the X-Men, and participated with them in "The Fall of
the Mutants," where they saved the world from an extremely evil entity, at
the cost of their lives. Longshot was resurrected and remained a member of
the X-Men until he became unsure of his purpose in life and left, apparently back
to the Mojoverse.
There he became rebel leader again and eventually Dazzler joined him.
After Mojo had captured Longshot and Dazzler he used her to also capture the X-Men. With the
help of Mojo II they escaped and Longshot managed to kill Mojo I (or so it seems).
But eventually Mojo II appeared as bad as Mojo I so Longshot was forced back into his rebel
role. In his latest known exploits they dealt Mojo II a hard blow and convinced Major Domo
to renounce his ways and join the rebels.

In Brief:Alison Blaire was born to Carter Blaire, a prominent lawyer and
judge, and his wife Katherine, a former actress. Although born a mutant, her powers did not manifest
themselves until her late adolescence, when she was performing at
a high school dance. At the time, her powers were mistaken for a light
show.
. Although her father wanted her to
follow him into practicing law, she.wanted to be a singer. After graduating high school, she became
a professional singer. Her.light-generating powers provided
her with her name Dazzler and the.elaborate light shows that accompanied her singing. Onlookers thought
these shows were simply clever special effects. Dazzler gave them no
thought.
The X-Men's Cerebro finally detected her powers and a team was
sent to recruit her. Although Dazzler had never given much thought to her
powers, she soon found herself using them in a fight for her life against
the minions of the Hellfire Club. Despite the threat she now faced, she
declined joining the X-Men at that time.
As she went on tour, she found herself using her powers time and
again to fight the criminals and renegade superhumans who crossed her
path. Eventually, Alison moved to Los Angeles where she became the
intimate friend and lover of Hollywood celebrity Roman Nebokoh. He
produced "Dazzler: The Movie," a film in which she starred. To insure
its success, he wanted her to publicly reveal her mutant nature. When
she refused, he revealed the information anyway. His plan backfired.
The public was undergoing a wave of anti-mutant hysteria which was only
fueled by the revelation. The movie was permanently shelved and Alison's singing career was destroyed.
Her life in tatters, Alison returned to the X-Men for friendship and training. Under this partnership,
she rapidly grew in the use and variety of her powers. She became intrigued with
the alien, Longshot, although it took a long time to become a full blown romance
due to Longshot's incredible naivete.
Like the rest of the X-Men, she was
presumed killed during a battle in Dallas. In truth, she was restored to
life by the sorceress, Roma. Among Roma's gifts was an invisibility spell
that negated any attempt to mechanically sense or record Dazzler's form,
and gives subtle amnesia to anyone she meets. Both of these effects
were the worst things possible for a would-be singer and movie star.
After entering the Seige perilious with the other X-Men Dazzler reappeared in Hollywood
without memories of her time with the X-Men, she began a new life there, living in Lila Cheney's
beach-house until joining Longhot after her memories had returned.
She was used by Mojo to kidnap the X-Men but managed to escape herself and free them
with help from Mojo II. She was pregnant with Longshot's baby but seems to have had a miscarriage.
She now fights by his side and has 'adopted' the X-Babies.

In Brief: Ricochet Rita was a stuntwoman for various action-B-movies
when Longshot first arrived on Earth. They hooked up when Longshot
walked in on a set where she was working, she was extremely attracted to
his happy-go-lucky way of life. When Longshot later seemed to have been

to New York only to be captured and tortured by Mojo and Spiral. She
was left an empty shell of her former self, to be found by Longshot and
Dr.Strange and while Longshot went after Mojo, Dr.Strange nursed Rita
back to health. She was the one that saved Longshot by shooting Spiral
and followed him and Quark back to the Mojoverse.
It was established that in fact Spiral is Ricochet Rita, genetically
altered by Mojo's scientists. Mojo then forced Spiral to dance back in time
to stop Longshot thus entering a timeloop, and since Longshot was destined to
be the fallen Messiah who was time and again forced to go to earth
totally amnesiac, this loop was only broken when Longshot finally won.
It is however likely that there are only Spiral and Rita at the moment
and no other Ricochet Rita's since Longshot has managed to break the
cycle.
Rita was last seen when she help the X-Babies flee to Earth where
she was possesed by the Agent and send to hunt the X-Babies. The Agent

In Brief: Arize was the scientist that build a frame that would
enable the his people the walk erect. But, although his invention allowed
his race to evolve dramatiaclly, it were the ones that refused the spines
that became the rulers, demanding slaves to help them. Arize built these
slaves in the image of those that walked erect and build one, Longshot,
with the powers to eventually defeat the Spineless ones. When the
spineless ones demanded Arize to make destructive weapons hge refused
and was cast out.
At one of Longshot's attempts to flee, he ran into Arize and he made
it clear to him that he should revolt.
When time pasted by and Longshot seemed destined to fail Arize fled
to Earth where he first was found by the X-Men,
with no memory of the Mojoverse, but when the Death Sponsers, send by Mojo II,
tried to capture him, his memory was restored. He went in hiding
and tried to instill the thought of rebellion in his people
by sending them images of earth through a dimensional gateway. Ironically
these signals where somehow distorted in time and ended up driving
the Spineless Ones mad even before his creation of Longshot, thus
in a sense Arize was responsible for everything that happened
to the Mojoverse.
Even later, Arize returned to an alternate Earth future, enlisting the
aid of X-Force to help a revolt of the Spineless Ones against the
tyranous Shatterstar.

designed an artificial exoskeletal frame that would enable a member

their civilization rapidly advanced.
However, some of Arize's race refused to use the exoskeletons, and
somehow these so-called Spineless Ones became the race's rulers. The
Spineless Ones demanded to have a race of slaves, which Arize created
for them, through genetic engineering. Arize designed his genetic creations to resemble the Spineless
Ones' mythic images of devils, which look like Earth human beings.
One of the Spineless Ones, Mojo, became ruler of the entire world. He
also ran a slave trade, creating and dealing in humanoid slaves, as well
as a movie industry. Mojo supervised the creation of many humanoid and
some not-so-humanoid slaves. Mojo was present when one of the slaves Arize
had designed, who later became known as Longshot, first achieved
consciousness. Mojo put Longshot to work in his movie industry, performing dangerous stunts, but Longshot became the leader of a slave
rebellion. Longshot was captured and rendered amnesiac, but he
escaped and fled through an interdimensional portal to Earth. Mojo sent
Spiral and other rebel hunters to kill him, but they failed.
Mojo became intrigued when he learned that Earth was inhabited by
a race of human beings. He journeyed there with Spiral, intending to
prevent Longshot from returning to their native world and stirring up further rebellion. Mojo also decided to
take over Earth himself. However, Mojo was defeated by Longshot,
who forced him into an interdimensional portal. Spiral led
Mojo back to their home world. Longshot followed, having regained much
of his memory, planning to kill Mojo and lead his world's humanoids to
Earth and freedom.
Eventually Mojo was seemingly killed by Longshot when he had kidnapped
the X-Men. Mojo II, who had helped, became the new ruler (with seemingly
the best of intentions). It is probable however that Mojo did survive.

Enhanced Senses: In tracking
Claws: Ex edged damage.
Magic Absorbtion: On earth Gog N'magog acts as a magic magnet. The magical
energy makes him grow and act increasingly hostile. Normally he absorbs
5 points of energy per day unless magically attacked. He can absorb
up to Un attacks and a total of 1000 points. For each 10 points
he gains 1 point of growth on top of his normal size. In addition his
speed, strength and endurance (and thus health) increase by 1 point for
every 10 points of absorbed energy. If he has absorbed more than 250
points he can also grow tentacles or extra claws. If someone has the 'luck'
to hit him at the right spot when he has absorbed more than 500 points
the magical energy will be released (1 point of damage for every 10 points
of energy) and Gog N'magog will be hurled back to the Mojoverse.
Talents: Tracking

In Brief: Gog N'magog was one of the hunters that were left
stranded after Longshot's arrival on Earth. He 'befriended' Longshot
until he eventually had absorbed so much energy that he
tried to kill him. But he was stopped by Dr.Strange and Longshot.
Later he returned with his father to capture the X-Babies that had once
again fled to earth.
