Deadpool #11

Summary: Blind Al and Deadpool find themselves in the past after an accident with his teleporter and the Lightning Rod known as Doorman. Meanwhile Weasel is doing his best to retrieve him and save Doorman who still had some kind of temporal vortex inside him.
Deadpool and Al are caught in the middle of the ancient Spider-Man issue #47 with Deadpool playing the part of Spider-Man and Blind Al impersonating Aunt May. To return Deadpool tries to find a young Weasel who at the time was still known as Jack Hammer and who was a fellow student of Peter Parker both of whom were trying to get a job at Osborn Industries. Running into Kraven the Hunter Deadpool manages to not completely screw up the timeline. The only effect has been Weasel turning into the alcoholic Deadpool knew him as (timetravel still is one of the most difficult things to handle correctly in comics). But at least they manage to get home.

Heroes for Hire #6

ISSUE SYNOPSIS: The adventure begins with action galore! Iron Fist, Black knight, Power Man, and White Tiger are joined by Sersi in a battle royale against the Deviants, mind controlled Eternals, and the powerful Ghaur! Iron Fist sees his team fall. Alone, (he thinks) he is about to be killed when Kro (the Deviant leader) arrives with the calvary! He however leaves the chamber with only a few of his men and Iron Fist!
Once they are safe another human makes himself known... the long hidden member of the Heroes for Hire... Scott Long aka Ant Man. He reveals he has been on the team the whole time, hired by Jim Hammond to secretly supply back up. (he now has YellowJacket's bio sting) They plan how to help their team mates and Ghaur's prisoners. It is decided Antt Man will ride a little reptile named Ignatz and try to free the team.
Meanwhile the heroes are in dire straits, Black Knight is threatened by his own weapons, Sersi is bound, Whaite Tiger is nearly suffocated, and Power Man is held by very strong tentacles. That is when Ant Man arrives and fires at the device controlling Karkas with Pym's bio sting and shorts it out.. now free, Karkas frees White Tiger and Powerman.
Once everyone is in the Throne Room the battle is joined. Black Knight says 'Avalon' and recalls the weapons his foe holds, Ghaur begins to use Thena and Sersi to form the Anti-mind, the twins of Kro and Thenna begin to metamophasize, and all the Deviants and Eternals are forced into a Unimind. When the Heroes for Hire proove themselves a threat, Ghaur tries to kill them but then his Anti-mind is attacked by a new Hero... Dark Angel, a gestalt of the twins who combine into one creature. They all work together to destroy the Anti-mind but afterward a very angry Ghaur turns the Deviants against H4H anf Kro's allies!!!

In this issue a new character is revealed... Dark Angel. Since Marvel UK already has a Dark Angel character, I will call this one Dark Angel II. Dark Angel is a joined being need ing both of the twins of Theena and Kro to combine into a new being. I have seen maybe 4 panels with this character and not enough has been seen for an accurate model but below is a fair attempt with currently known powers.

Kitty Pryde: Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. #1 (of 3)

Short Summary: In what's probably the most useless limited series of the year (and I'm usually not that harsh on a LS, especially since Kitty Pryde still is one of my favorites.) Kitty Pryde finds herself drafted into SHIELD service when the computer of their Helicarrier goes down. It turns out it is possesed by the spirit of Ogun in yet another attempt to posses Kitty. He lures her onto the Helicarrier by making sure the computer only responds to her commands and then makes his move involving Wolverine in the process.
Next Issue: Wolverine vs. Ogun and a "Doug Ramsey'-like 'love-interest' for Kitty (who still has something going with Wisdom I thought).

New Mutants #2 (of 3)

Summary: It's Old vs. New in a battle to save Illyana with Karma betraying the old ones when Mikhail makes an entrance to unfold his plans.
Next Issue: The fate of Magik revealed.

Thunderbolts #9

Issue Synopsis: The action begins as an mystical creature named Ogur, finds himself confused and angry in Manhattan. The creature is in battle with 2 members of the new hero team Thunderbolts... Songbird and Mach-1. Songbird's powers continue to improve and she becomes more agressive with them and the duo take the giant down and turn him over to NYPD. As they leave the scene they are called from a rooftop by the former Avenger Black Widow.
She tells them she may not be a great super hero but she has always been a good spy. She tells them she has wondered how an experienced team of heroes could appear out of nowhere. She has come up with some disturbing possibilities, but assures them that she has nothing concrete yet. She says she has decided to talk to the pair BEFORE she finds out anything because she sees something familiar. Mach-1 wants respect and Songbird has had only one recent good break... the team. She says they can become what they pretend to be. Then she tells them a story...
The story is about the first major change in the Avengers when Thor, Iron Man, Giant Man and Wasp left. The rouster was filled by Quicksilver, Scarlett Witch, and Hawkeye, who joined Captain America. Hawkeye was a known criminal exposed by the bugle, and the Maximoffs were recent members of the Brotherhood of evil Mutants with Magneto as their leader. They were not immediately accepted by the public. Despite the hard change the trio rescued Captain America from Radioactive man! They all died as heroes loved by the public.
The story over she tells them that it is possible to make a change, but if she is right about Citizen V they had better take him out before she gets any evidence or they are going down with him. Back at Thunderbolts Plaza Citizen V and Techno have broken the Avengers files and find nothing they want but Citizen V is ecstatic about gaining the public's trust.
Next Issue: An enormous shock when SHIELD invades a Thunderbolts press-conference and tries to place them under arrest for past crimes as the Master's of Evil. It is revealed that Baron Zemo leaked this information because his plans seemed to go awry with some of the Thunderbolts becoming accustomed to their hero-identities.

Uncanny X-Men #350

Summary: Gambit's biggest secret is revealed and it is none other than what has been rumored for quite some time. Just prior to the Mutant Massacre Gambit was approached by Mister Sinister to form the Marauders and lead them into the Morlock tunnels. He got a reward which has not yet been revealed (a small canister) but didn't really directly participate in the Massacre. He even saved a little girl, Marrow. But this doesn't free him from guilt or persecution by Erik the Red, later revealed to be none other than the real Magneto. After the trial Rogue dumps Gambit in the middle of the arctic to fend for himself saying that he needn't come back since he no longer has a home with the X-Men, this after just a few pages before she pledged her undying love to him no matter what his secret may be. It is hoped this sudden emotional turn is caused by Rogue absorbing part of Gambit's personality and self-hatred during the trial otherwise Roge has really become quite the hypocrit, as do the other X-Men who have harbored former villains in their ranks before.
Next Issue: Cecillia Reyes tries to get back to work, runs into Dardevil, Pyro and a lot of mutant hatred.

Wolverine #119

Summary: In a flashback we learn that some years ago (before his X-Men days) Logan was working in Hong Kong guarding a film-maker. He also met McLeish and they seemed to have become friends, McLeish sharing his experiences as a killer. But when Logan was on one of his dates with the daugther of the man he was protecting, McLeish killed the film-maker. Logan managed to catch up with him on a boat and broke McLeish's back with his bike and blew up the boat. But now, years later, Logan is ambushed in his appartment by a bomb with adamantium shards (McLeish knew about Logan's skeleton and claws) with McLeish signature all over it. So McLeish seems to have survided but is not yet known how and in what condition.

If targets of the mind-switch are within 1 area of each other and have a very strong emotional response to one-another then the minds will switch back explosively if both succeed in a Red Psyche FEAT (no karma) which they must make every round. This explosion causes In damage to the targets of the mind-switch and any other touching them.
