Pesto


Pesto recipe from the Moosewood cookbook.

Ingredients

Method

  1. Place basil leaves and garlic in blender and mince well
  2. Add the nuts if desired and continue to blend
  3. Drizzle in the olive oil and keep running until you have a smooth paste
  4. Either stir in the parmesan or blend it in
  5. Add salt and pepper to taste
  6. To serve, put it at room temperature in a warm serving bowl.
