Accomodation

Block reservations have been made at the Tulip Inn hotel (Jan 31-Feb 3), single room 74 euro/night + 13 euro for breakfast. Book before December 18.

There are a few (!) single rooms available at Van der Valk Hotel Leiden (Haagsche Schouw), single room 75 euro + 10 euro breakfast (not a block reservation). There are also still a few rooms available at the Bastion Hotel Oegstgeest.

These three hotels are within walking distance of Leiden Observatory (or easy by bus).

** Note that these hotels may fill up fast, so book early! **

Other options are:

• Het Witte Huis (Oegstgeest)
• Hotel Mayflower (Leiden)
• De Doelen (Leiden)
• Holiday Inn (Leiden)
• Bastion Hotel Leiden (Note that this hotel is NOT within walking distance from the Observatory)
• alternatively, cheap but very basic rooms can be found at hotels near Schiphol Airport. These hotels have shuttles to the airport, from where trains to Leiden leave every 15 minutes.
