Likewise financed through NWO, the Netherlands have a similar 20% share in the joint UK/Canada/NL Millimetre/Sub-millimetre telescope (the John Clerk Maxwell Telescope/ JCMT) on Hawaii and an informal arrangement to obtain limited access to the United Kingdom Infrared Telescope (UKIRT) on the same site.
