This Committee, composed of the directors of the university astronomical institutes and the instrumentation facilities ASTRON and SRON coordinates Dutch astronomy policy. There is now some overlap in the activities of the NCA with those of the NOVA Board; the demarcation line is not always clearcut. The NCA chair is presently held by Piet van der Kruit (Groningen) and Jan Lub is Executive Secretary.
